We, in this project are eager to persuade our pupils about the importance of a careful and tender attitude to their natural environment and we want them to understand that the global problems concerning renewable sources of energy, protection of the natural world and recycling are very important for mankind today. We want to show our pupils that in the whole world, in different cultures, there are children of their age with the same aspirations, passions, interests and needs. We expect our children to share their knowledge.
We would like to point out the education for sustainable environmental development is vital for all kinds of life. People should be aware of avoiding global warming, water quality and resources and contribute to its sustainability not only in their small area but in a global scale; they must respect other people, their diversities and special needs.
Eight European schools and pupils are involved in this project and they will fight actively and in a practical way against the results of global warming In order to create a mutual common sense. We want to form an "Active Eco-european Citizenship" so we will be able to reduce the bad results of global warming and find solutions. In this way we want to emphasize that our world actually is not our own, it is only a heritage that we have to leave for the next posterity.
We would like to raise environmental awareness though the impact of songs because we believe that music is the universal language of tolerance, sharing, mutual understanding.
